Surah Al-Zalzalah 99:7–8

قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِنْ أَخَذَ اللَّهُ سَمْعَكُمْ وَأَبْصَارَكُمْ وَخَتَمَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِكُمْ مَنْ إِلَٰهٌ غَيْرُ اللَّهِ يَأْتِيكُمْ بِهِ ۗ انْظُرْ كَيْفَ نُصَرِّفُ الْآيَاتِ ثُمَّ هُمْ يَصْدِفُونَ 6:46۝
Ask them, "Have you ever imagined this - Were God to withhold your hearing and your seeing, thus sealing you off sensorially - what form of deity - besides the one true God - will He bring to your [mind]?" Observe then how We advance the evidence, in spite of which they remain averse.

致虛極，守靜篤。萬物並作，吾以觀復。夫物芸芸，各復歸其根。歸根曰靜，是謂復命。復命曰常，知常曰明。不知常，妄作凶。知常容，容乃公，公乃王，王乃天，天乃道，道乃久，沒身不殆。
[to] cause/deliver/achieve utmost emptiness, hold/maintain sincere stillness/silence/calmness. The ten thousand beings [(creation)] simultaneously unfold, I thereby see their return. Those beings are in flourishing abundance, all return to their roots. The return to the roots we call stillness/silence/calmness, it is called the return to destiny. The return to destiny we call constancy/eternal. Knowing/understanding this constancy/eternal we call light/brilliance/clarity. Not knowing this constancy, absurdity/falsehood/recklessness brings/does/makes evil/misfortune/misery/disaster. Knowlegde/understanding of the eternal is all emcompassing/all tolerant. [From this] all encompassingness/all tolerance then/is really/leads to true fairness/justice. [From this] fairness/justice then/is really/leads to Kingly state/sovereinty (I'm reading this as all encompassing sovereignty **of one's mind). [from this] all encompassing sovereignty then/is really/leads to Heaven (the active/yang principle of being is sovereign over you). [From] heaven then/is really/leads to the Dao. [From] the Dao then/is really/leads to eternal endurance. No/end of body/life is not a danger.

天長地久。天地所以能長且久者，以其不自生，故能長生。是以聖人後其身而身先；外其身而身存。非以其無私耶？故能成其私。
Heaven [the active/yang aspect of the daoist primary active duality as projected into a cosmology] is expansive/dynamically eternal and earth [vice verse receptive/earth] is old/stable/enduring. Heaven-earth thereby can be the dynamically/eternally expansive while being the eternally old/stable/enduring, by means of/by it's not self generating/birthing. It is hereby the sage puts behind their body/self, and their body is first; he takes his body/self as utterly ouside/excluded/foreign, and it exists/survives/remains. Not for a lack of interests/private aims right? Rather it is hence that his interestes/private aims can be accomplished.
